Do Reviews Matter?

Absolutely. Taking the the time to review an album is a great way to thank the artist. This business can be hard and a little pick me up is a good thing every now and then. Musicians love to know their work is being appreciated.

They're also a promotion tool. Amazon.com and iTunes use reviews to rank/promote albums. The more positive reviews/sales an album has the more likely that album will appear on the front page or on a list. Now, more people will be able to see the album and possibly purchase it as well.
